Scutigera coleoptrata, the house centipede: they come out at night to prey on roaches and other insects, and they will probably devour your immortal soul as well. My dorm Senior Haus at MIT was infested with these endearing insects, especially the suite called Towers where I lived. We called them "Towers Bugs" but it seems lots of people have different names for them.
